Flying TM Ranch

A little more background on how I came into draft crosses. My first cross colt was a APHA mare to a Shire stud about 15 years ago. The resulting colt was exactly what I dreamed of and I was devastated to loose him as a yearling to unexplained colitis. I spent several years looking for another opportunity to try again. My next venture was a different APHA mare and Shire stud. This time I also bred a spotted Halflinger to the shire as well. The resulting foals were fantastic, one of which I still have today. I did find the Shire crosses to be a little heavier and less sporty, and was thrilled to welcome the Clydesdale breed into the equation. I currently have a two year old and a three year old from Oliver I am just starting under light saddle work. I am very happy with their trainability, and excited for the ability to see how they mature.

All of my foals will be branded with the Flying TM brand before leaving the farm, the brand is state registered.

Foals will also be branded with the digit of their birth month on the left side of their tail, and two digit year on the right side .
